Primary Research
Desk research was conducted to understand competitors within the given price range, including their design and CMF offerings. Online customer reviews were also noted to identify customer preferences.
Competitor Study
Competitor products were analysed to understand component fitments, assembly methods, and overall construction.
Secondary Research
This research involved visits to customers and markets, primarily in northern cities such as Delhi and Chandigarh, where the ceiling fan design was specifically targeted.
Ideations
As per the defined brief, multiple design concepts were ideated, starting with initial sketches and then translating the selected concepts into 3D CAD models.
Prototyping
The preferred 3D CAD designs were printed and reviewed with the team. Feedback and comments were noted, and the necessary design changes were incorporated accordingly to close the design.
Visualization
Final visualisations were created to explore different CMF opportunities, catering to the preferences and tastes of the targeted market.
